WordPrehttps://wordpress.com/ss.com is a commercial service built on open-source WordPress.org software, and it charges users for access. It’s user friendly, although it lacks many of the customization options of self-hosted WordPress.
When people refer to “WordPress,” they typically mean the self-hosted version found at WordPress.org. To have full control over your website, WordPress.org hosted on your own server is the way to go.
